Step 1: Customize your wig. Bleach the knots, pluck the hairline for a more natural hairline, tint the lace to match skin tone (optional). If you need professional help with this, select customization online when you order. Step 2: Cornrow your hair straight back into fairly small parts. You want your wig to lay as close to your scalp as possible. Make sure you have bleached the knots of your wig and plucked the hairline. If you need professional help, select customization before you order! Step 3 :Next, take a cotton swab and gently apply some alcohol along your hairline in order to get rid of any dirt and oil. Step 4: You may use our Professional Stocking Wig Cap to create a bald cap look (optional) Step 5: Evenly spray your Lace Adhesive Spray (found under Hair Care tab) or glue of choice, across hairline where you intend the wig to lay. Wait 2-3 minutes for the glue to dry a little and get tacky. Step 6: Cut off the excess lace from your wig Step 7:Starting from the middle, place the wig firmly on top of the glued area. Continue to press down the wig into the glue as you move along from the middle to the ends of both sides. Then, use your comb to help press down the edge of the frontal, and also to move any baby hairs out of the way. Step 8:Almost done! To make sure your lace front is firmly in place, use a blow dryer to fully cement the glue while pressing the lace front down. Alternatively, you can tie it down with a scarf for 15-30 minutes. The best way to store a wig is on a wig stand. Storing a wig on a wig stand prevents the wig from becoming tangled, knotted or dirty between uses. The wig stand will also help maintain the style and shape of your wig. Wigs should be stored in a cool dry place free of dust, mildew and high temperatures.
